Who are you and what do you do?

I’m Minoshka, a recruitment specialist at Grantrow. I help connect talented individuals with the right opportunities, ensuring a great fit for both candidates and clients. It’s all about understanding people and finding the best match.

What’s the first thing you do when you start your day?

I usually start my day with a quick glance at my calendar and emails to set priorities. Then, I spend a few moments organizing my tasks for the day.

What does a typical workday look like for you?

My day involves a mix of reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and managing recruitment processes. I also spend time researching candidates and brainstorming creative ways to attract top talent.

How do you stay organized and efficient?

I rely on to-do lists and productivity tools like applicant tracking systems to manage workflows. I also prioritize tasks based on deadlines and impact, which helps me stay on top of things.

What’s the most rewarding part of your day?

The most rewarding part is when a candidate accepts an offer and is genuinely excited about their new role. Knowing I’ve helped someone take a step forward in their career is incredibly fulfilling.

How do you recharge during the day?

I like to take short breaks to stretch, clear my mind, or chat with colleagues. Sometimes, stepping outside for a quick walk is refreshing.

What do you do for lunch or during breaks?

I enjoy walking around the mall, completing a Duolingo lesson, or making quick calls to catch up with friends. Sometimes, I’ll have a quiet lunch while planning the rest of my day.

How do you keep learning or improving in your role?

I stay updated on industry trends, attend webinars, and connect with other recruiters to share insights. Continuous learning is crucial in recruitment since the industry is always evolving.

What advice would you give to someone interested in your field of work?

Be curious about people and genuinely interested in understanding their skills and motivations. Build strong communication skills and stay organized. Lastly, patience and perseverance are key!

How do you wind down after work?

I enjoy playing the keyboard or exploring Dubai’s vibrant scene—whether it’s trying out a new restaurant, visiting an attraction, or just relaxing with family and friends.

What do you reflect on at the end of the day?

I think about what went well, what I could have done better, and what my goals are for the next day. It’s my way of staying focused and improving constantly.

What do you enjoy most about working at Grantrow?

I love the supportive culture and the opportunity to make an impact by helping individuals grow in their careers. It’s also rewarding to be part of a team that values innovation and collaboration.
