Job Description

Our client operates in the real estate sector in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It focuses on real estate development and is involved in various high-profile projects. Its work includes planning, branding, and marketing strategies for major real estate projects which aim to boost Jeddah’s northern area, aligning with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.

Key Responsibilities
  • Corporate Strategy: Develop and execute the department's long-term strategic plan in alignment with corporate strategies. Develop annual business plans and ensure the achievement of financial and strategic objectives. Report to the Chief on progress, opportunities, challenges, and mitigation actions.
  • Leadership: Manage the department’s employees, define workforce requirements, and ensure recruitment, training, and development in coordination with the Human Capital Department.
  • Organization Structure: Recommend an optimal organizational structure in coordination with the Chief to ensure smooth workflow and resource optimization.
  • Financial Accountability: Prepare and recommend the department’s budget in alignment with the annual business plan. Monitor financial performance, identify underperformance areas, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Smart City Development: Lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures to transform the company into a smart city.
  • Technology-Powered Cities: Establish technology-driven city initiatives within the company ecosystem to enhance decision-making and improve resident experiences.
  • IT Collaboration: Work with the central IT function on technological advancements, including planning and execution of information systems, applications, networking, telecommunication services, and data center management.
  • Infrastructure Development: Collaborate with development teams to align city infrastructure with technology and software requirements for smart city initiatives.
  • Data Management: Develop and continuously improve data collection channels to support city management and community engagement.
  • Data Analysis & Smart City Implementation: Oversee data analysis to identify measures for service improvement using smart city technology, addressing challenges, and guiding action plans.
  • Change Management: Identify and implement change initiatives on systems, processes, and practices by adopting international best practices.
  • Policies, Systems, and Procedures: Develop and implement departmental policies, systems, processes, and procedures to ensure operational excellence.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Preferably a Master’s Degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a relevant industry.
  • 10+ years of experience in a relevant industry, including at least 4 years at a senior management level.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
  • Professional certification in a related field is preferred.
